Design Session
We will conduct a design session so you and your team can plan your OpenStack Swift deployments. This session includes:
- 2-hour consultation session
- Review of expected workload and use-case
- Cluster sizing and scale based on workload
- A report that includes:
- Specific hardware recommendations
- Cluster architecture for your SwiftStack deployment
Configure and install SwiftStack on clusters up to 100TB
The SwiftStack team of Swift experts will do an installation and configuration of SwiftStack on your cluster of up to 100TB of storage. This includes:
- Installing SwiftStack Nodes which have had Ubuntu, RedHat or CentOS pre-installed.
- Provisioning devices on the storage nodes
- Configuring the proxy nodes
- Configuring the storage nodes
- Configuring cluster-wide settings, including any additional Add-ons

Go-Live Check
It’s better to experience many of the operational activities before going in production. We have created a go-live check as so that you can be confident of how the cluster will behave. This operational checklist will make sure your cluster is ready for production. SwiftStack will be available for support during your go-live check.
The Go-Live Check includes:
- A workload simulation guide to test cluster throughput
- A walkthrough of simulating and handling the operational tasks of:
- Drive failure
- Storage node failure
- Proxy node failure
- Extreme utilization
- Capacity additions
- Storage decommissioning
